is anyone interested in doing a points fund for the LM's through Hoosier Tire of Calverton?
As in the past we all would pay $3.00 to $5.00 more a tire. Everyone one I spoke
with at the Sunday meeting was interested. HTC would keep track of the tally on their computer and have it available for all to see as per Eddie P.
If this is a go (we all have to agree) I will talk to others to see if they would like
to add something into the kitty so it didn't all come from the drivers/owners.
Anyway, this was a thought

...and or a $25 per car entry fee per week that would go to top 3 that week????

this fund if created, would have nothing to do with the track WJ, so any on or off track fines would not even be an option. Now
also if a driver or owner feels they do do want to part take in this deal, that would be fine and they do not have to pay the additional fee when buying a tire. But that car would not get any of the proceeds at the end of the season

ok, if I don't get additional feedback from all concerned in the division good or bad, then I am not going to move on it. So far the following cars like the idea.
97, 23, 7, 35,88 and myself. That's 6 out of ??. Jrod, what is your reply if you race at RR this year?

Im down for anything that rewards good finishes. a point fund helps cars that run every week(which i'd like to do if possible). a weekly entry fee(to add to that weeks top 3) would help guys who can only make a certain number of races. On another OLD topic im still in favor of the 2 tire a week rule that would keep $300 a week in everyones pocket.

they would not enforce it properly in my opinion
Do you mean after the feature the top 3 contribute to the kitty?

heres what i meant rog,, if cars put $25 a piece(like an entry fee, some1 from division would hold it til after feature) into the ''pot'' for that week. say 15 cars are there that would be 375. 200 to 1st 100 to 2nd 75 to 3rd. Since the track isn't going to stop being cheap, its the least we could do 4 ourselves.

gotch ya. One question though. Since we will probably have a couple of cars who most likely won't finish in the top 3, why would they want to contribute?

Everybody buying 2 tires on that night has to put the 2 tires on in an impound area.

appreciate the feedback Rob, but what does impounding two tires a night have to do with a proposed point fund?

Just responding to what you said on them enforcing it properly, I was just putting my 2 centss on how it could be enforced properly.
