Just got the news about Bruno from Marty Himes over the phone. Bruno was one in a million, no one will ever be able to take his place. The racing community will never be the same. Thanks for the memories Bruno.

My first hero. Feels like part of me has passed with him. You'll be forever loved, Bruno.

Sorry to hear about Bruno, I have been a long time fan of his not only in the Modifieds but also when he drove the # 71 TQ. Heres a couple of pictures of his Modifieds courtesy of the Marty Himes Museum web site.2514

Really sorry to hear about Bruno. He was the best pure racer Long Island ever had. He was also a great friend to me when I started racing back in 1972 at Freeport Stadium.I'll never forget Bruno would always tell me to say hello to my Dad because they went to the same school as kids in Rockaway Beach. He will be greatley missed.
My condolences to his family.

Sad news. Bruno was one of the first racers who stood out to me when I first started going to Freeport in the early 60's. My condolences to his family. Here's a repost of a photo I took of Bruno at Freeport in, I believe, 1965.
