:confused:Can anybody give me a way to take out a windshield without any special tools. The last one I did was already smashed and it made a heck of a mess and shot glass splinters back at me. There has to be some way that I can do it without getting hurt.

That's right Mr. Critter, I got a 95 cause I thought we might be racing on asphalt. I don't think the old 87 is going to track real well so I want to be ready if I need it. That way I can also let one of the Ladies drive my car and not worry about it getting broke.

Well, I got er out with some fishing wire leader, a filet knife and some wooden wedges to keep pressure on it while I cut it out. None of the inmates could get out to help. Now I have to go find a piece of fence to replace it with that doesn't have razor wire on the top.

Wanted to mention what tool I used to remove the windshield from my Honda last year. A hatchet and a hammer. Used the wedge on the hatchet and beat on it with the hammer. It was fun. phil
