Somewhere I saw that the Myers brothers and Junior Miller had entered. Other than that I haven't seen much info. All the hype seems to be about the PASS race.

Check out "The Race" on facebook. LINK (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Race/160199347367943)

According to Speed 51, Geoff Bodine has just entered the SLM race, maybe someone has an extra mod they can stick him in?

there is one for the SLM race, 90 cars, almost all the top teams in North America - Thats what you get when you put up 75k to win.

Too bad it's on ice breaker weekend. would love to see what northern mods would have shown up for 5k to win race.

Only 7 modifieds for $5,000 very sad but when the southern tour runs they get 20 cars for what $1800 :WTF gives confused:

Welcome to the final mod race at NW. Who would try it again with a $5000 prize and only 7 cars show up.

Its there own fault for going on the same weekend as the opener of the WMT, I sure there would have been some WMT teams there . If anything you should ask the SWMT guys why most of them stayed home what's there excuse ?

going against the Ice Breaker is not good for the mod race but it isn't about a 5k to win mod race, it's about a 75k to win SLM race. Everyone is right about the Southern mods, they have no excuse here. I bet there will be a few more cars in the pits today though.

I am suprised they did not go with a PLM or CLM race, alot of these SLM teams would have had cars in both races. There are alot of heavy hitters in the last chance race too. Of the 44 cars fighting for 2 spots are Lonnie Sommerville, Ben Rowe, Geoff Bodine, Cassius Clark, Joey Pole, DJ Shaw, Mike Fritts, Ryan Crane & Sterling Martin. Some big names are going home, whens the last time you've heard that, heck even the daytona 500 can't say that anymore.

The Hills are the only team with a real reason to not be there. Its just down right pitiful to have a better purse and a smaller field than last fall

Pay $20,000 to win and not have it on Icebreaker weekend. Then the Modifieds will show up.
