The competition is sure to be intense at Wall Stadium Speedway early Saturday afternoon, April 23, but instead of being on the speedway it will be contested in the grandstand concourse. The event will be the first ever “Wall Stadium Easter Egg Hunt” and will be free for all children up to age 12.

With plenty of prizes being offered and free admission offered to all, the 1:00 p.m. holiday festivities should be fun for the entire family.

“Our Easter Egg Hunt is not just for young race fans, but also for kids age 12 and under from all over the area,” Office Manager Diane Krause said. “We thought this would be a fun way to celebrate the Easter holiday at the speedway and a fun way to welcome people from all of our neighboring communities to the track.”

Although the event is being held early in the afternoon, participants and their families are welcome to stay in the grandstands to witness afternoon stock car practice sessions. Then, later in the afternoon, tickets will be on sale for the evening’s on-track stock car racing action.

Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock, Legend Cars and Factory Stock racers will all be on the agenda Saturday with the first race set to take the green flag at 6:00 p.m. sharp.

Wall Stadium Speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B. More information can be obtained by visiting www.wallspeedway.com (http://www.wallspeedway.com). The speedway hotline number is 732-681-6400 and email address is CKMotorsports@aol.com.
