Wall Stadium Speedway will celebrate the Easter holiday weekend this Saturday (April 23) with an “Easter Egg Hunt” for children 12 and under on the speedway’s grandstand concourse. With the Easter Bunny planning to be on hand, plenty of prizes being offered and free admission to the egg hunt for all, the 1:00 p.m. holiday festivities should be fun for the entire family.
“Our Easter Egg Hunt is for kids age 12 and under from all over the area,” Office Manager Diane Krause said. “We thought this would be a fun way to celebrate the Easter holiday at the speedway and a fun way to welcome people from all of our neighboring communities to the track.
“We are hoping that we can make this a yearly tradition.”
Although the event is being held early in the afternoon, participants and their families are welcome to stay in the grandstands to witness afternoon stock car practice sessions until 3:00 p.m.
Then, at 3:00 p.m., tickets will go on sale for the evening’s on-track stock car racing action. An “On Track Party,” where fans will be welcome from the grandstands onto the track to check out all of the racecars up close, will then be offered starting at 4:30 p.m.
Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock, Legend Cars and Factory Stock racers will all be on the agenda Saturday evening with the first race set to take the green flag at 6:00 p.m. sharp.
Wall Stadium Speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
