Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Call
Before You Dig will return for the 2011 season as an SK Modified®
contingency sponsor and track partner. For the past four seasons, Call
Before You Dig has served as the title sponsor of the track’s Technical
Inspection Zone, and they will once again serve in that capacity for the
2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season. Call Before You Dig will
also provide a weekly $125 bonus to the 2nd place finisher in each SK
Modified® feature event during the 2011 season for the second consecutive
year.

In addition to sponsoring the Inspection Zone and providing a weekly
contingency bonus, Call Before You Dig will maintain an advertising presence
in the Stafford Speedway PitStopper Magazine as well as a billboard display
along the track’s backstretch.

“We’re please to have Call Before You Dig as part of our family of sponsors
for another season,” said Mark Arute, SMS COO/GM. “With the current
economic climate, sponsors are harder and harder to find and it’s especially
difficult to maintain a continuous relationship with a sponsor. This will
be the fifth consecutive season that we have been partnered with Call Before
You Dig, which is a great testament to the benefits of being an advertising
partner here at Stafford. Call Before You Dig has been a great partner to
work with and we hope that we can continue our partnership well into the
future.”

Call Before You Dig is a non-profit organization comprised of all public
utility companies and municipalities within Connecticut. CBYD is a free
service that provides homeowners and professional excavators with a toll
free call by dialing 8-1-1 for locating and marking underground facilities
by its members.

8-1-1 is a new, federally-mandated national "Call Before You Dig" number,
which was created to help protect people from unintentionally hitting
underground utility lines while working on digging projects. People who
take on digging projects often make risky assumptions about whether or not
they should get their utility lines marked due to concerns about project
delays, costs, and previous calls about other projects. Every digging
project requires a call - even if it is a small project like planting trees
or shrubs. If you hit an underground utility line while digging, you can
harm yourself or those around you, disrupt service to an entire
neighborhood, and potentially be responsible for fines and repair costs.

8-1-1 is a free call to make, and calling CBYD before you dig is the law in
Connecticut. Within 2 days of your call, a representative from each member
utility company that will be affected by your dig will come to your site and
mark the location of their underground facilities with color coded paint or
flags. Call Before You Dig can be found online at www.cbyd.com for more
information.
