one of the few icons of Nascar history left in Daytona burned up on Monday 4-25-11.
Smokey Yunicks shop on N. Beach St. burned up . it was basicaly empty & desserted but was still standing.
Smokey said he didn't want it turned into a shrine, so it stayed empty.
still a sad day for those of us in Daytona.
