MODIFIED TWIN 35’S SET FOR MAY 28

Rain showers that hit the area shortly before starting time forced Wall Stadium Speedway promoter Cliff Krause to postpone the stock car racing events set for his speedway on Saturday night. The Twin 25 lap main events for the Street Stocks and the dirt track Sportsman car races originally schedule will be reset later in the season.

The track will also be busy on Sunday afternoon (May 22) as the “Small Car Sunday Series” takes the green flag at noon.

Wall Stadium will then celebrate the Memorial Day weekend this Saturday night, May 28, by honoring the armed forces with “Military Night” festivities. Grandstand seating will open at 4:00 p.m. and the first race will take the green flag at 6:30 p.m.

Heading the May 28 card will be Twin 35 lap feature races for the Modified division as well as a 25-lapper for the visiting Three Quarter Midgets. The Blewett Recycling Sportsman cars, the Untied Crane Factory Stocks and the Street Stocks will all compete in 25-lap main events. The INEX Legend Cars will have the night off.

The May 28 schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 12:30 p.m., with a paid testing session for competitors then running from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.

The regular afternoon practice session will then begin at 4:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 4:00 p.m.

On track action will then begin at 6:30 p.m. with qualifying events to be followed by feature race action for all four divisions.
