Second generation driver Paul Frantz will be making his 2011 Sport Modified debut this Sunday May 29th at Mountain Speedway.
For Frantz, the debut is two fold. First and foremost, have fun. Second,"I need to get track time and finish the race with the car in one piece": stated Frantz.
The plan is to run a limited schedule for now. Tentatively, the schedule will be run the "B" program at Mountain Speedway through the summer as well as the Evergreen Reunion with the Tour Type Modifieds. If additional sponsorship is acquired, more races will be run.
Once again Paul would like to thank all his sponsors: Associated Chiropractic, Haines Exxon, D. E. Cressman Insurance Agency, S & D Bodyline, Morgantini Racing Engines, Brian's Auto Body, Dave & Lori Loch, and Neil & Susan Pritchard.
Racing starts at 2:00 pm Sunday. On the card is a make up Sport Mod feature from May 15, plus Late Models, Factory Stocks, INEX Legends, and a full Sport Mod show.
