32 Total Modifieds in the pits - 31 Attempted to Qualify.
Great Job and a Big Thank You to the longislandmodmaniac. What a great asset to the Tour Type Modifieds.
#99 Timmy Solomito took home the $500 bonus for being the first Riverhead regular across the line and another $1000 bonus for winning the race thanks to the longislandmodmaniac.
#51 Justin Bonsignore took home the $1,000 bonus for being the first WMT driver to cross the line in second place again thanks to the longislandmodmaniac.
Race fans do not really know how much Jim did to make this race a success. Thank You to the best Modified race fan their is. Jim your support made this a must see event and another big Thank You to all of the owners and teams of Modified racing.
Jim also had his fourth grade class attend the race with their parents totaling about 60 to 70 people in the stands and filling up one section of the grandstands and had his own autograph session for the kids in his class. Another big Thank You to Ryan Preece, Bill Park, George Brunnhoelzl III, Richie Pallai, Jr. and Eric Goodale for bringing pictures of their Modifieds and signing them for the kids. That's huge.
Thank you to Rick Jarzombek for having the #1 Charlie J. Vega Modified with Tommy Solomito doing some hot laps and pacing the field. It never gets old seeing that baby at speed.
The longislandmodmaniac Inn was full to capacity.
