$2,600 AVAILABLE TO WINNER OF STAFFORD’S 38TH ANNUAL COORS LIGHT SK
MODIFIED® 100 ON FRIDAY, JUNE 10TH

With the 38th Annual Coors Light SK Modified® 100
on tap this Friday night at Stafford Motor Speedway, the race winner is
guaranteed to walk away with a winner’s check for $2,300. If the winning
car has the proper contingency decals on their car, the winner’s check could
be worth as much as $2,600.

There is a grand total of nearly $13,000 on the line for the 28 SK Modified®
competitors who will take the green flag in the extra distance classic. The
race carries a total purse of $12,310 with $550 in available contingency
money to push the total posted awards for the 38th Annual Coors Light SK
Modified® 100 to $12,860.

Thanks to contingency partners CARQUEST Auto Parts and Trantolo and
Trantolo, there is an additional $300 available to the race winner.

Additional contingency awards of $125 will be paid by Call Before You Dig to
the second place finisher, and New England Racing Fuel, Sunoco Brand will
pay a $50 product bonus to the third place finisher if they have a Sunoco
sticker on their car and use Sunoco racing fuel in their car. New England
Racing Fuel will also provide a $25 product bonus to the top-3 finishing
cars that use the Stafford Motor Speedway SK Modified® Spec Engine.

The 2009 and 2010 Coors Light SK Modified® 100 events were two of the
wildest races in recent memory with 2-time SK Modified® champion Keith Rocco
dueling with 7-time track champion Ted Christopher in a battle that saw the
two drivers swap the lead between themselves almost at will. Between laps
16 and 68 of last year’s extra distance classic, Rocco and Christopher
swapped the lead between themselves 15 times. The 2009 edition of the race
saw them swap the lead seven times between themselves over the final 35 laps
of the race.

Rocco has gotten the better of those battles as he is the two-time defending
champion of the Coors Light SK Modified® 100. Both Rocco and Christopher
have visited CARQUEST Victory Lane twice thusfar during the 2011 season, and
they will be looking to pick up their third win in the second most lucrative
SK Modified® event of the 2011 season.

Rocco and Christopher won’t be the only favorites to take the checkered flag
in the Coors Light 100. Other SK Modified® drivers who have won extra
distance events at Stafford who will be in the starting lineup next Friday
night include Eric Berndt, Todd Owen, Woody Pitkat, and Frank Ruocco.

Ruocco has become an extra distance master at Stafford, winning three out of
the last four CARQUEST SK 150 events and with a best finish of second
thusfar in 2011, he will be hungry to notch up his first win of the season.

And while current SK Modified® points leader Ryan Preece has yet to win an
extra distance event at Stafford, he finished second to Ruocco in last year’
s CARQUEST SK 150 and he has plenty of extra distance experience in Whelen
Modified Tour events at Stafford.
