Riverhead tour race

It's only about a month away. We are still looking for a few more people to come forward and help us do something pretty amazing - make Riverhead a 10000 to win show.

Right now, I have $12,305 collected. I have 2000 in pledges. Looks like the winner would take home a good 7500 plus rite now, and drivers who don't qualify getting at least 200 ( hopefully 300) depending on how many there are. So basically, we are short about 2500. With only a month to go, it may not be possible - but every 20 donation adds up. Please think about supporting our efforts.

As most of you know, we are putting up some extra money, and with the help of other race fans we are close to having a 10,000 to win show. 3:30 p.m. Release Qualifying Tires from Impound.
3:45 p.m. Qualifying Inspection begins.

Started 14th, and got up to 7th. Not bad for 35 laps on the 1/4 mile. Maybe that's worth 50?? lol

Race was pretty exciting.. Justin Bonsignore was the show, and Tommy Rogers taking the win with a left front going flat.

Thanks to Axel for the 100 check I got in the mail yesterday.

Also, more info to come, but it looks like we will have Mike Ewanitsko joining us in victory lane as we present 500 dollars to a hard charing driver in the upcoming tour race.

Also, thanks to Ken Massa, we are going to give an extra 300 to the 2nd place finisher and 200 to the 3rd place finisher.

And though I'm not including this in my totals, I read that Tommy Baldwin is also putting 500 among the first 3 drivers of the tour race.

This keeps getting bigger and bigger every day.. Maybe my dream of 10000 to win could still be a reality.

Laps 1- 175 of the feature ( could be an extra 1750 to the winner)

Looks like it is now guaranteed that the winner of the heat race will get 250!

Very unofficial but so far have sold laps 1 (twice), 3, 7, 8, 11, 12 ( 50bucks),13, 15, 19, 21(50 bucks), 23, 24, 26 (20 bucks),36, 37 (50 bucks), 39 ( 39 bucks), 55,60,61,67, 69,72, 77,83,87,92,97,98,101,108,109,111

Also on lap 36,67 and 72, the top riverhead regular on those laps will each earn $10.

Yes Justin B. was the show last sat at the head, ever position he gained was after setting up a car and going under them in the turns, truly fun to watch!!!
And for Tommy Rogers to even finish that race after going up and over the 49 was amazing!! Between the 8 cyl enduro and the mod race it was a nice nite of racing!!
