St. Johns, PA- Summer has finally approached us and Mountain Speedway is proud to announce its popular “Summer Racefest” program for July. The program is spread over several weekends and consists of extra-distance events with double points on the line, plus fan appreciation night.

An extra distance, double points event is slated for one division over several weeks of action, starting with a 30-lap main for the FWDs on July 2. The Late Model drivers will have their turn in a 50-lapper on July 9 and the Street Stocks will run a 40-lap feature on July 16. The ATQMRA Midgets and the Atlantic Coast Old Timers are also on the card for the evening.

A 30-lap Factory Stock show is scheduled for July 23 and the track will showcase a 75-lap “cone race” for the Modifieds on July 30. The Sport Modifieds will turn 75-laps for double points on August 6, which will lead into Autograph and camera Night on August 13.

The Autograph and camera Night will take place during intermission. At that time, fans will have the opportunity to meet and receive autographs from the Speedway’s drivers, who will have their racecars parked on the speedway. Any drivers that plan to participate are asked to bring hero cards or items to give away to the fans that show support for them.

Mountain Speedway is just minutes from Hazleton, Pa, located on St. John’s Road, between Routes 93 and 309. Grandstand admission for all regular events is just $10 for ages 11 and older. Children 10 years of age and younger are admitted for free.
