Just four weeks remain at Spencer Speedway in the 2011 NASC AR oval racing season. It has been a year of domination and a year of triumphs.
In the revived Super Stock division only two drivers have seen the checkers in 2011, Jim Steffenhagen Jr. and Kris Hillegeer, each winning four times.
What started out with last years track champion, Kevin Timmerman winning, the NASCAR Sunoco Modifieds have offered fans the main competition this season. Both Timmerman, Mike Leaty and Amy Catalano each have three wins each. But it is Leaty with the points lead by a slim margin. It could come down to mere heat points to determine the champion.
Tim Faro etched his name into the victory list at Spencer in the Super Six division, not once but three times in a row. And in the Auto Value Scorpions Mike Bradshaw took the trophy three times in 2011.
This coming Friday, August 19, the four NASCAR divisions will be in competition with double points on the line for the Auto Value 4-Cylinder Scorpions.
Friday, August 26 finds the four divisions in competition again, plus Legend Cars.
Friday, September 2, is the final regular four star program of the year and the 2011 season will wrap up on Friday, September 9 with a 100-lap finale for the Sunoco Modifieds, plus final points races in the other three divisions.

Spencer Speedway is located just fifteen minutes east of Rochester , NY , along Route 104 in the Town of Williamson . Spencer Speedway is the local “ NASCAR Place to Race” for Central New York . Points earned each week at Spencer are counted into the national NASCAR Whelen All-American Points.
