View Full Version : Third Annual Brad Kline Street Stock Memorial is Straight Ahead at Mountain Speedway

St. Johns, PA- It’s been three years since Brad Kline, a two-time Mountain Speedway Street Stock champion passed away. His memory continues to live on through his family and friends, and also through the drivers that competed with track great. In memory of a true champion and for the third straight year, the Kline family has teamed up with Mountain Speedway to organized the running of the third annual Brad Kline Street Stock Memorial, which will be held on Sunday, August 28.



Sponsored by the Crossroad’s Inn in Mountaintop and C&D Landscaping of Walnutport, this year’s event should have the largest payout to of the Kline Memorial races held thus far. Heat races will set the main event field and up to thirty cars will take the green flag. The winner of the 50-lap main event will pocket $1,500 and the bragging rights that Joe Barbush (2009 winner) and Chip Wanamaker (2010 winner) carry as former winners.



Laps are available for sponsorship at $10 each and the leader of the sponsored laps will receive the cash following post race inspection. Anyone interested in sponsoring laps can see Dean Kline at the Crossroad’s in, or Gene Ostrowski at the speedway.



The N.E. Modified Series will be in action the same afternoon with the running of its innagural 75-lap event. For more information in regards to the series, please visit www.nemodified.com.



Also in action will be the INEX Legends.



Pit admission for the afternoon is set at $35 for the Modified and Street Stock drivers. INEX Legends drivers that have a Mountain Speedway pit license will be charged $25. There will also be a $20 registration fee for Street Stock drivers.



Grandstand admission for the afternoon is just $10 for ages 11 and older. Children 10 years of age and younger will be admitted for free.

Mountain Speedway is just minutes from Hazleton located on St. John’s Road, between Routes 93 and 309 in the Pocono foothills of Pennsylvania.
