Wines, Lynn "Red" of East Quogue, NY and Roslyn, NY on August 26th 2011, age
70. Loving father of sons Demian (Gina) and Adam. Proud grandfather of
three. Lynn "Red" had a lifelong love of auto racing and was ever-present
at Riverhead Raceway, Islip Speedway and Freeport Speedway both on and off
the track. He was well known in the Roslyn/Glen Cove area for his auto
recovery and parts business for over 50 years. Known to his friends and
family as "Red", he touched the lives of many people and will be dearly
missed by those who knew and loved him.

Viewing to be held on Thursday, September 1st 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Follet & Werner Funeral Home, 60 Mill Rd, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978

Service to be held Friday, September 2nd at East Quogue United Methodist Church followed by internment at Oakwood Cemetery, East Quogue.

A good friend for many years, many many years. First met Red in 1974 through Ernie Maynor. On a number of occasions I rode with Ernie in to visit Red at his yard in Roslyn. Most weeks at the track sometime during the day/night we'd talk about the nights happenings and often watched races together in turn 4. A friend I will truly miss.
