After being postponed by Hurricane Irene last weekend, family friendly “Friday Night Cruise Nights” return to Wall Stadium Speedway this Friday evening (Sept. 2). The gates for the “Friday Night Cruise Night” open at 5:00 p.m. and admission is free of charge for both car show participants and those who visit the speedway to admire the classic and custom cars.

Several of the speedway’s racecar drivers also plan to display their machines and meet with neighbors from the surrounding community during the Friday evenings. All race teams are invited to participate.

Plans again call for all of the special cars to be parked in the large, paved pit area at the speedway. Food will be available from the speedway’s refreshment stands and participants will get the chance to cruise around Wall Stadium’s famous third mile high banked oval as the track’s pace car will lead groups of cars around the track though out the evening. Music will set the cruise night mood.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B. The speedway hotline number is 732-681-6400, while CKMotorsports@aol.com is the track’s email address. More information is also available at www.wallspeedway.com (http://www.wallspeedway.com).
