Legends National Qualifier make up September 10; NEMA added on September 24
Waterford Speedbowl has announced
adjustments to its September schedule of events. The Legends Cars and
NEMA Midgets have both had events added to previously scheduled events.
The Legends Cars are in the spotlight on Saturday, September 10 as the
50-lap Raceiver National Legends Tour event, postponed from August 27,
will be made up. The winner receives a berth in the 20th annual Legends
Nationals event held October 27-29 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Bullring.
The 50-lapper is a non-points race for the Speedbowl standings. The
makeup event replaces the originally scheduled 20-lap point event on
September 10. The rest of the September 10 program, including NASCAR
Whelen All-American Series divisions and Bandoleros, remains unchanged.
On September 24, the Speedbowl is pleased to announce a return engagement
for the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites. Both divisions have been added to
that race program and will mark the fourth and final appearance of the
year for the NEMA Midgets, still in search of a repeat winner at the ‘Bowl
in 2011. The remainder of the September 24 NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series race program remains unchanged. The SK Light Modifieds will be in
action along with the SK Modifieds®, Mini Stocks and Street Stocks. The
Bob Valenti Auto Mall Late Models have September 24 off from racing.
