The final family friendly “Friday Night Cruise Night” of the year is set for Wall Stadium Speedway this Friday evening (Sept. 30). The gates for the “Friday Night Cruise Night” open at 5:00 p.m. and admission is free of charge for both car show participants and those who visit the speedway to admire the classic and custom cars.

Plans again call for all of the special cars to be parked in the large, paved pit area at the speedway. Food will be available from the speedway’s refreshment stands and participants will get the chance to cruise around Wall Stadium’s famous third mile high banked oval as the track’s pace car will lead groups of cars around the track though out the evening. Music will set the cruise night mood.

Wall Stadium will then return to stock car racing action on Saturday, October 22, with the first annual “Halloween Spooky Spectacular.” This afternoon event will feature the Modifieds in a 75-lapper, while the Sportsman cars, Legend Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, TQ Midgets and the visiting dirt track Sportsman cars are all scheduled for 30-lappers. Pit area and grandstand opening times will be announced soon.

The track will then present a NEETS Enduro on October 30 before closing out the year with the two-day Turkey Derby on Thanksgiving weekend.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B. The speedway hotline number is 732-681-6400, while CKMotorsports@aol.com is the track’s email address. More information is also available at www.wallspeedway.com.
