The final event of the Mountain Madness Enduro Series at Mountain Speedway is slated for Saturday, October 29. With double points on the line and with 150-laps of green flag enduro action, patience is sure to be the determining factor as to whether the drivers take the checkers or ride the wreckers.

The season-ending double-points 150-lap enduros for the four cylinder and 6/8-cylinder divisions will not only decide who is crowned champion, but there is also a large chunk of change up for grabs to the winner- $500 to be exact, which is based on a minimum of 25 cars starting each event.

The points battles are very close in the competitive series, which has TJ Kapish at the helm in the 6/8-cylinder division. Tom Szoke sits a close second in the standings, only five points out of the lead. Winless so far this season, Ken Harper has a nine point advantage over Bruce Miller in the four-cylinder division.

The Halloween Screamer events will be held rain or shine. Registrations for the event are beginning to flow into the track office. Drivers will line up for the start of the race as their registration is received. Drivers that register the day of the event will tag on to the end of the field.

The final INEX Legends event labeled “The Legends Fall Championship” is also scheduled for the afternoon.

All of the action will begin at 1 PM.

Registration forms for the Halloween Screamer enduro can be downloaded from the speedway website at www.mountainspeedway.com.
