If your coming to the North South Shootout and you need help with your scanner or some frequency’s. I’ll be glad to help you. The first 10 will get a complimentary copy of the Super Late Models. I'll be sitting at the start finish line. If you need any help before then you can contact me at bensfrequencyclub@yahoo.com or 336-239-4338 during the weekend. If you would like to rent a scanner and 2 headsets for the weekend, I can help you. I've got a scanner and headsets I’ll not be using. Just let me know between
now. So I can bring it on Thursday.

I see Ted's # is to be announced..... I just assumed he'd be in Brady's 00. Makes me wonder if this will be a shakedown run for next yr????
Could he be in a GC team car..... Driving for the Hills just to prove they can still get the job done or maybe even a black 13 with a silent partner in a suit? Maybe Ed wants one last win?

I don't know which car he will be in at Caraway but his website has been "semi-updated" for the first time in a couple of years.

It has a big picture of the 36 on the front. All the other stuff was brought over from his old site including the 13 car descriptions end team. That site had never changed even when he first went with Mr. Whelan in Jennerstown. It looks like the website is still a work in progress.

Safe bet for Caraway is Mr. Brady and the 00. They've won there multiple times in the past.

Thank you for the schedule post NC Mudcat.
I had a good time at the shootout and thought the racing was pretty clean. It's good to see guys not heading back home with torn up race cars. Matt and that 60 car are a tuff team to beat and congrats to him. My son and I have been to all the shootouts and still believe this to be one of the best race weekends of the year I just hope this race will continue on for years to come.

It was good racing. Schedule got really bogged down with nothing happening. It was cold in the stands, but watching Andy Seuss wheel that Ideal car warmed things up. I hope the organizers work on the pit stop fiasco. The pit area is way too cramped to accommodate that many cars at one time. They could barely fit in when parked diagonally and certainly didn't fit when so many of them came in to pit at the same time. Some cars couldn't get in to their pit crews. Some of the cars that got to their pit crews got blocked in and played "chicken" to get out. It's a wonder no crew member was seriously injured. I know it was exciting for the few fans braving the cold, but the stop they have had at Bristol where everyone comes in, has a set amount of time to change tire(s), and goes back out in that order would be much safer for the pit crews and officials.
