:cool:I think you should consider starting the Trux division at Grandview again.. But they should have their own division and Not be mixed in with other divisions.. 4cyl, and 6cyl only and have them all run together, leaves truck choice to the driver/team... domestic/import whatever,
keep rules very simple but strict

The big question is "How many Trux drivers will show up at Grandview to race in 2012"

Joe would have to get the word out for a possible Trux series in 2012, then start a list of interested drivers, post it on the NEETS website, and see how long that list gets. I will be surprised if it gets much over 5 Trux drivers on that list.

That's my opinion but what does Joe think?

TRUX Series did not ever go away....only the trucks.......

Several NY drivers came up when we first started racing at Grandview in 2008 and none of them said they would return...too rough on their equipment.

IF we could get some trucks together, YES, there would be a regular TRUX division....

.....Wink....let me guess, you just got a truck didn't you? LOL!!!!:applause::-B

El camino.......hmmmm, they are registered as trucks....gotta look into that one since they are lower (bumper height vs driver window) and wheelbase sizes....

I think I did pretty well with my truck last season running with the fwd. It was tough though, thing was so heavy, traction was limited and a 95 hp 4 cylinder just couldnt turn rpms like the cars did. Hell, when i bought the truck and drove it home, I couldnt go faster than 65 on the highway... But I managed to stay consistent, finished 10th in the last race of the season and pull off a 5th place in points.

Good News: I just got a half decent job this week and should be starting within 3 weeks which means I may be able to return next season. I would def run a truck again, but this time I will make a better choice with motor options...lol

i gave my dad one last hoorah with the truck at the first NEETS event this season, he wrecked it pretty good at the beginning of the race. We stripped it and junked the truck so no more ranger lol. Not sure what my next vehicle will be
