Imagine so much racing talent in one family.

Shayna and Cory Texter have a long list of accomplishments in AMA dirt track motorcycle racing. Shayna is the first female to win a Grand National race at Knoxville, Iowa which just happens to be where the Sprint Car Hall of Fame is located and her grandfather, Glenn Fitzcharles, is a member of that prestigious Hall.

The duo will be appearing at the Motorsports 2012 presented by VP’s SEF Small Engine Fuels Race Car and Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA January 20-22, 2012. Shayna and Cory, along with their matching Harley Davidson bikes, will be meeting fans and signing autographs in the Bob Hilbert Sportswear booth.

Shayna won the GNC Main Event at Knoxville in 2011 as well as an All-Star Series Main Event at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL. She earned the AMA’s Most Outstanding Performance Award for 2011.

Cory had main event wins at Volusia Speedway Park, Sturgis, SD; Gratz, PA; Circleville, Ohio; Marion, Ohio; Millersburg, Ohio; and four other main event victories. He is the 2011 D6 Open Twins Champion.

Both racers earned the 2010 AMA’s Most Dedicated Rider Award.

Their 2012 schedule includes 18 Grand National events, 7 Hot Shoe races along with a variety of pro-am racing events across the country.

Shayna and Cory carry sponsorship from Herr’s Foods, Bob Hilbert Sportswear, Invisible Glass and a number of other businesses. Both have appeared at the show in the past.

Extra duty for Shayna will include serving as a judge for the very popular BPG Racing Ms Motorsports Pageant set for Saturday, January 21st.

Both are looking forward to having the opportunity to chat with fans at the 27th edition of the Motorsports show which is organized by Len Sammons Productions and fills all 255,000 square feet of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center with everything motorsports.

“It is going to be a lot of fun this year at the show. We have been a part of the show the last couple of years and always have a great time,” said Shayna. “ I am also honored to become a judge for the pageant.”

Brother Cory chimed in with, “I am very excited to be at the Motorsports show meeting fans and representing our good friend and sponsor, Bob Hilbert. Bob has been a very big part of our program the last few years. He stepped up when not many people believed in us.”

More than 200 racing vehicles representing just about all forms of the sport will be on display throughout the three days.

Show attendees will have the opportunity to meet many local, regional and national motorsports figures and be able to participate in free autograph sessions.

More than 600 exhibit booths offering 400 plus racing dealers, hardcore manufacturers of racing equipment, and more will be part of the huge show considered the biggest and best of its type in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states.
