Wall Stadium will host its final event of 2011 this Saturday (Dec. 10) as it presents a Race Car and Automotive Swap meet. The swap meet will run from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and will feature almost everything automotive. The father and son team of Earl and Doug Megill are organizing the event.

“There is a lot of excitement at the track since promoter Cliff Krause recently announced that he will be operating the speedway for at least three more years,” Earl Megill said. “I am expecting a great turnout for the event.”

In addition to the asphalt stock cars that compete weekly at Wall Stadium during the season, parts and entire cars from dirt track racing, quarter midget racing, drag racing and the custom car, street rod and muscle car communities will be welcome. All vender spaces will be set up in the large paved pit area at the speedway.

Vendor spaces are available for just $15, while buyers and browsers will be admitted free of charge. Food will be available during the event and a rain date of Sunday, December 11, has been set. For more information on the swap meet call 732-681-3776 or send an email to CDR30@optonline.net.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months. The speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B. The speedway hotline number is 732-681-6400, while CKMotorsports@aol.com is the track’s email address. More information is also available at www.wallspeedway.com.
