A few thoughts to address some topics:

Concerns of teams fans that were taken into consideration and addressed ...
Consecutive weeks: Last year the longest stretch of race was six weeks in a row and nine of 10 weeks. This year the longest streak of consecutive weeks with races is three.
Multi-day shows: Last year the schedule included 10 multi-day shows among the 16 dates. In 2012 there will be seven among the 14 events.
Travel: Thirteen of 14 dates are within a three-hour drive of Hartford, Conn.

Addition of Waterford...
Fans and competitors alike have told us through the years that they'd like to see the series return to Waterford. We sure hope you all come out on June 23 to show that support.

NHMS changes ...
Both New Hampshire races will be just two days instead of three. ... The loss of the August event was obviously tied to IndyCar not returning to the track.

Loss of Lime Rock and Delaware ...
The door remains open to return to both fine facilities in the future. The loss of the dates does not mean that they were not successful, but other circumstances have put the Tour's return on hold.

Nice schedule. Although I follow the NWMT, that Rockingham event is going to cause some excitement. These cars should be awesome on that track and I wouldn't be surprised if many northern teams take a shot at it.

Will really miss the third Loudon event, these cars are awesome up there. It was great to have three events up there.

Good to see all those NWSMT events.

I do wish that the NWSMT could have had more that 12 races with 5 of those at one track. I also think it's odd for them to have the first 4 races finished by April 24'th and then none until July 6'th. Does that have anything to do with Bowman Gray?
As for the NWMT, I'm thrilled that Waterford is on the schedule and hope to be able to get there. I also like the fact that there will be a few less two day shows.
As for the loss of both Delaware and Lime Rock, I do hope that either or both will be back on the schedule in 2013, but as for now, I have no complaints with it.
From my point of view, strictly as a fan, not a racer, I think that some good things were done, but I hope that both tours have better days ahead.

I definately like this schedule. Could swing the whole tour this yr. Races spead out a bit helps both fans and teams!

Since the majority of NWSMT competitors also compete weekly at Bowman Gray, schedule conflicts are limited, with the best interest of both parties in mind.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you.
