Just a reminder to all our asphalt drivers, mirrors are not permitted outside of our Open Comp Events!!!!

§404.2 Rear View Mirrors. Rear view mirrors must be removed entirely or covered with colored racing tape over the reflective surface in vertical strips.

§404.2.1 The mirror cannot be left untapped and just bent upwards.

§404.2.2 Sun visors with convenience mirrors must be removed entirely or completely tapped over.

We reserve the right to inspect any car at any time....for future races, if we catch a mirror in a car AFTER tech, we may not ask you to remove it...but you will be DQ'd...fair is fair...what is required to be done by one driver must be done by all drivers...

UPDATE!!!

We are now allowing mirrors for events at Wall Stadium Speedway....
However, the mirrors must be stock-type mirrors...if a racing mirror is to be installed, it must have only the width of a normal rear-view mirror visible...tape over portions to make it legal.

Now, this comes with a price...
NO ONE WILL BE WHINING ABOUT MIRROR DRIVING!
If you don't like someone mirror driving you and it costs you a position/win...that is your problem. We've allowed them based on EVERYONE'S unanimous decision at the driver's meeting on April 15th....now that they are legal...we don't want to hear the people who voted them IN complain they want them OUT....

They have a new trainee on the transponder system that I was overseeing at the race...I am not sure if they got that far in training her yet. I'll see if Joe can get a hold of Rick before tomorrow to see if he can find out the scoop on this.
