Tear Offs

Never used tearoffs and not sure where to get the right ones for my helmet. It's an AFX helmet. Any advice on where to get some and which ones I need?

Not sure about AFX helmets, but Joanne Bailey runs the pit gate sign-in booth and she has tearoffs for sale for a number of different style helmets.

If you have never used them make sure someone shows you how to put them on right or you might end up pulling all of them off at one time. I usually put on about a dozen tear-offs for each race and have plenty leftover.

That would be my luck! I'll definitely find someone to show me the right way. Not sure if this helmet has specific tearoffs or if some are universal. If not, I'll hafta buy some at the track. Thanks guys, appreciate the help.

:wave:Try Kreitz's Oval Track Parts in Sinking Spring, they have them all, and are there every day. Get a whole box, you'll need em.

Try speedway motors.com. Measure pin to pin on your helmet. Or you should be able to get them from the parts truck on practice day. phil
