My team and I hope to have the #37 modified there, and possibly will run the entire schedule as well. A trip or three to Thompson with the 73 car is back up or additional plan. both time and money are cutting it close!

The 88 Modified of Jim Boniface with car owner John Corliss have decided to concentrate on running the season with the Valenti Mods this season. It looks like the tour has gathered up approximately 70 entrants to participate at one time or another this season. Jim had ran a few years back with the 71ME and has experience running with the tour. We hope to be competitive this season and with a little luck, finish all of the races and challenge for the top spot this season.

Parking lot is kind of hard to get out of once the race is over.

Pit party is at 9:30 , I think

Not a bad seat in the house - think one section is family friendly section

Yup, coming off of 4th turn is good place to sit. Find the guy in the Richie Evans Sweatshirt ( me) and take part of our first 50/50 raffle among friends.- 300 to the winner and the other 300 goes to sponsor a modified at the Riverhead tour race. Your name could be on a modified as the sponsor!

Anyone know the name of the little motel right down the road from the track?

I think you leave the track parking lot going right, then the motel is on the left maybe a mile down the road. I stayed there for the Blastoff two years ago and it was cheap and close to the track.

I can't find it on google maps.

Thanks,
Jeff.

A little past there, and there's a Red Roof Inn. Just turn left at the light by a car dealership. Make the right and you end up at Burger King/ Mcdonalds/Taco Bell. Make the left and cross over 95 and Red Roof Inn on the right.
