“Live Wire” and Adams Racing Rocked the Stage- Now it’s Track Time!
In what was bound to be a great fit from the get-go, Scott Adams and his family owned Adams Racing Asphalt Modified team met up with LIVE WIRE, the ultimate AC/DC Tribute Band at the Lakeside Ballroom for a rockin’ show on Friday, March 16. It was the first time that both parties met face to face and both are excited about building on their relationship where rock-n-roll and racing collide head on!
Adams has his #68 LIVE WIRE Modified on display and many people were excited to see it and not just the band. Concert goers stopped by to check out the ride, as did folks from Frank Kielb Entertainment and Tyler Jett Motorsports Marketing.
For Adams, the 2012 season can’t start soon enough and he’s excited about his chances of visiting victory lane this season at Mountain Speedway in St. Johns, PA.
"The year is already starting off well with good finishes in the enduro car, so we have some momentum going into the start of the regular season. The modified came together really nice and we were able to get it out to a LIVE WIRE show for those guys to check out. It was great to see their excitement when they saw the car. I can't wait for opening day at Mountain Speedway."
Band members Chris Antos, Paul McGilloway, Bill Voccia, Bill Bowden and Billy Rauff autographed their banner on the racecar, which makes it officially christened for the start of the 2012 racing season.
Voccia is the Rhythm Guitarist for LIVE WIRE and he said, "The band is excited about our partnership with Scott Adams Racing and Tyler Jett Motor Sports Marketing and we look forward to a successful year. AC/DC's music and racing go hand in hand, like many AC/DC fans already know, and we're ready to deliver the most authentic AC/DC concert experience in the country."
