In conjunction with its annual Autograph and Camera Night at Mountain Speedway, race fans had the opportunity to set foot on the speedway surface to meet some of the local short track talent from the area. Following the festivities and a Big Wheel race for the children, the drivers did battle on the 1/3-mile asphalt oval and when it was all said and done, Dave Brigati of Calverton, NY drove away with the Sport Modified victory. Kyle Harvell of New York, NY led the laps that counted en route to his second straight Late Model Victory and Paul Morgan, Jr. of Mountaintop notched his second Factory Stock win of the season. Dane Schwarz of Maryland took top honors in INEX Legends action and Nick Harnage of Calverton, NY scored his third INEX Bandolero win of the season.

Paul Frantz started from the pole position in the 40-lap Sport Modified feature, but Scott Adams led the opening circuit over Frantz, Dave Brigati, Mike Skarbowski and Nick Pecko.

With a lap complete, Brigati got by Frantz for second and chased down Adams. With four laps in the books, Brigati’s bid for the lead was complete and he quickly began to distance himself from the field before a quick yellow flag waved on lap six.

Green flag racing resumed and Pecko overtook Frantz for third. However, with Brigati still in command over Adams on lap 21, Pecko slid up the track in turn four and Frantz retook the position.

That all changed when the caution waved with 13 laps remaining. Frantz and Pecko got by Adams following the restart and with four laps remaining Pecko climbed past Frantz for second.

Brigati cruised to his third divisional win of the season over Pecko, Frantz, Adams and Tommy Wanick III.

Hest race victories went to Scott Adams and Paul Frantz.

Travis Fisher started from the pole position and led the beginning of the 3-lap Late Model feature over Austin Kochenash, Rob Ormsbee, Kyle Harvell and Jim Lamoreaux.

Ormsbee climbed to second on the second lap and tried to chase down the leader. With no yellows to that point and with a used up right rear tire, Ormsbee lost the second spot on lap 16 and then lost third to Harvell on lap 18.

The yellow flag waved with seven laps remaining and the top two drivers headed to the pits, which moved Harvell to the race lead. Without any serious challenges, Harvell earned his second win of the season, followed by Ormsbee, Lamoreaux, Mitch Hawk and Stone Phillips.

Heat race wins went to Travis Fisher and Austin Kochenash.

Kenny Kleppinger start on the point in the 20-lap Factory Stock main and led lap one over Dan Pawlicki, Mark Martini, Paul Morgan, Jr. and Matt Schlenker.

With a lap complete, Martini overtook Pawlicki for second and Morgan followed through for third a lap later. Morgan then overtook Martini for second on lap six before mounting a charge on Kleppinger for the lead.

The yellow waved when Kleppinger cut down on tire on lap 10 and spun to the infield. Morgan was then scored as the race leader with Pawlicki, Schlenker, Kendall Foulk and Rich Paciotti in tow.

With the green back out, Schlenker moved to second and Paciotti climbed to third. Behind Morgan, Schlenker and Paciotti waged a torrid battle and with two laps remaining Paciotti overtook the second spot.

Morgan went on to claim his second win of the season, followed by Paciotti, Schlenker, Trevor Ahouse and Kleppinger.

Dan Pawlicki and Kenny Kleppinger were heat race winners.

Formula One style qualifying set the field for the 20-lap INEX Legends event and the fastest time was turned by Dane Schwarz. Schwarz led the opening lap and never looked back, as he took his first victory at the speedway over John Bacon, Cole Fratesi and Alexandria Smith.

Lap after lap, Nick Harnage and Kyle Fratesi battled for the win in the 10-lap INEX Bandolero feature and when the checkered flew, it was Harnage with the advantage over Fratesi and Evan Schwarz.
