Yep...it's that time of the year again!
We're collecting Pet Food and Supplies!!!
We have the GranDuro 5 up next and we want to collect more food and supplies than ever before!!! The benefactor this year will be the Bucks County SPCA. they have a new branch located right in Quakertown, so we are going to try to get their volunteers to be able to participate at the next event with a few of their pets that are up for adoption.
So what are we asking from you? Simple, bring a bag of food or some pet supplies! For either Dogs OR Cats!
What are supplies? Supplies can range from cleaning supplies to toys, leashes, collars, harnesses and even treats!
A BIG 50lb bag of dog food can cost around $20...smaller ones even less... Set yourself a budget and remember, you're not donating money that will be picked at by the charity itself...you are feeding the animals right from your donation!
There is no limit to how much you can donate! There is no minimum either... :( I'd like to see everyone bring at least one bag of food or some supplies.
Last year we collected approximately 1,000 pound of food and a crate full of toys and leashes! The SPCA members were ecstatic and did not expect so much! The SPCA is an organization that does not GOVERNMENTAL FUNDING for these day-to-day items...a lot of the volunteers expense for these items we will be collecting out of their own pockets at times.
So, let's get together and see how much help and love we can provide to them!! And remember...there is NO LIMIT!!!
