Wall Stadium Speedway will host a busy night of motorsports action on Saturday evening as the “Down 4 Life” motorcycle stunt show and five divisions of stock car racing are on the agenda. “Scout Night” festivities call for all Scouts who arrive at the speedway in uniform to be welcomed free of charge into the grandstand area. Plans call for qualifying to start at 6:00 p.m. with main event action set for 7:00 p.m.

Making their first ever appearance will be the cars and drivers of the track’s all new 4 Cylinder Division. Rules for this class are designed to keep the racing both exciting and affordable. Qualifying methods and the main event distance will be determined by the turnout of cars on Saturday.

In headlining Modified stock car action point leader Anthony Sesely of Matawan is sure to be a favorite, while Toms River’s Charlie Kremer III is looking to extend his Sportsman division point lead. Jackson’s Howie Conk will lead the way in the Street Stock competition and Legend Cars defending champ Derek Hopkinson of Toms River will be among the favorites in the small coupes and coaches. The Factory Stocks will have the night off.

Current plans say that pit gates will open at 1:30 p.m. and the regular practice will be up early at 2:30 p.m. Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. and the first qualifying event will take the green flag at 6:00 p.m. Feature racing will follow.

Scouts will be on hand to present our country’s colors during pre-race ceremonies and a pinewood derby track will be set up at the speedway so Scouts are urged to bring their cars.

Wall Stadium Speedway is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
