Following a restart with four laps remaining in the Sport Modified feature Saturday night at Mountain Speedway, Dave Brigati of Calverton, NY got by Tommy Wanick III and drove off to his fourth victory of the season. In his rookie season in the Late Model division this season, Stone Phillips of Berwick, PA held off several charges by Kyle Harvell and Geno Steigerwalt to notch his first career victory in the division and Keith Frankenfield of Saylorsburg, PA scored his second Factory Stock win of the season. Nick Harnage of Calverton, NY went to victory lane for the eighth time in Bandolero action.

Tommy Wanick III started from the pole position in the 40-lap Sport Modified main and led the opening circuit over Nick Pecko, Dave Brigati, Todd Baer and Paul Frantz.

With one lap complete, Brigati overtook Pecko and set his sights on the leader. Meanwhile, Jason Hearne battled Frantz hard for the fifth spot.

Glued to the rear bumper of the leader, Brigati attempted several passes on Wanick, but hungry for his first victory, Wanick slammed the door.

The first yellow flag waved on lap 27 when Jason Hearne spun in turn four. With a double file restart, Wanick was able to maintain the lead over Brigati, Pecko, Baer and Frantz. Following a Cam Ayers spin, which brought out the yellow with four laps remaining, Brigati overtook Wanick for the race lead.

Brigati drove off to take the checkers over Wanick, Pecko, Frantz and Baer.

Heat race victories went to Dave Brigati and Tommy Wanick III.

With double points on the line, Thirteen-year-old Stone Phillips started from the pole in the 25-lap Late Model feature and led the opening lap over Kyle Harvell, Geno Steigerwalt, Mitch Hawk and Mark Tyson.

Harvell got up alongside Phillips to challenge for the lead on several occasions in the early going and Phillips threw the right blocks when needed.

The first of several yellow flags waved on lap six when Tyson looped his car in turn four. Green flag racing resumed and Phillips continued to hold off Harvell and company.

Following a quick lap 11 caution flag, Harvell tried his hand at the lead. He and Phillips battled side by side and Harvell led lap 11. Phillips regained the top spot on the following circuit.

In only his eight career start in the division, Phillips wrote his name in the speedway record book as the youngest PA driver to win a feature in the division, as he crossed the stripe, taking the checkered flag. Steigerwalt got by Harvell to finish in second, followed by Harvell, Hawk and Tyson.

With the cone style race format for the event, Trevor Ahouse led the Factory Stock field to the drop of the green flag in the 30-lap double points show. Without a lap in the books, Kenner Kleppinger got into Kendall Foulk in turn four to bring out the first yellow flag.

Green flag racing resumed and Ahouse led the opening circuit over Dan Pawlicki, Stan Green, Keith Frankenfield and Mark Martini.

With Ahouse still in command, a pair of yellows waved on lap three. Green flag racing resumed and Frankenfield overtook Ahouse for the top spot. Rich Paciotti rode in the top five and then got by Pawlicki for third on lap four.

With 14 laps in the books, Frankenfield continued out front. Paciotti held second with Martini, Ahouse and Stephanie Moyer in tow.

Paciotti and Martini battled hard for second over the second half of the event and the pair each battled Frankenfield for the lead.

Frankenfield edged the two out to the stripe to take his second win of the season. Martini crossed the line in second, followed by Paciotti, Ahouse and Pawlicki.

Trevor Ahouse and Rich Paciotti were heat race victors.
