Anyone know what I need to do to increase the volume of the Uniden BC72XLT scanner. This and other Uniden Scanners do not have sufficient audio output at the headset connection. There is an internal modified that will increase the volume through the headset connection. I need to know so I can do it to mine or know someone who can do it for me.

I have the boster from R/E, but thats another gadget and another thing that needs a battery. I want the internal modification process to increase the volume.

Thanks

Ask the guy from G2 Radios at the Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday night.

Muffy, we have a volume booster made by RACEceiver that is small, has a short cord and requires no battery. It costs about $6 and seems to do a good job for us. I thought Gino sells RACEceivers, maybe he can get you one.
