After a mid-summer break, Lehighton’s Mahoning Valley Speedway swings back into action this coming Saturday night, July 28. Race time is 6:00 p.m.
On the agenda will be a complete show of Modifieds Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, 4-Cylinder Stocks plus the 4c Super Mods.
The Dirt Mods and 4 Cylinders will be running twin features. Along with their regular scheduled events they will be running make up races as well. The 4-Cylinders will be running the make-up race from June 28 while the Dirt Mods will run the July 7 make-up feature.
Saturday night’s races mark the start of the second half of the 2012 season. Earl Paules holds the point lead in both Modified and Late Model classes. Jason Kuhn has a one point edge over Josh Mooney in Street Stocks. Kris Graver holds a solid lead in the Dirt Mods and Jeremy Miller sits atop the 4-Cylinder Stocks.
Adult general admission will be $12. $2.00 off admission price for students, seniors 65 + and active Military. Children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and racing starts at 6:00 p.m.
