View Full Version : 08/16/12 - Mahoning Valley Speedway will have racers both young and old this week

Race fans of all ages will have something to see this coming Saturday night, August 18 at Mahoning Valley Speedway as Go-Karts and Quarter Midgets and right up through to Modified stock cars will be featured.

The regular card of racing will included heat and feature racing for the Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods and 4-Cylinder Stocks + plus make-up events for the latter two.

That program begins at 6:00 p.m. with main gates opening at 4:00 p.m.

Earlier that same day, the racers of the future will be showing their wares as Quarter Midgets and Go-Karts will be on display in front of the main building starting at 3:00 p.m.

Keystone Quarter Midget Club, Blue Mountain Quarter Midget Racing Club and Snydersville Raceway will have representation. Then, during intermission and following Kids Big Wheels, the youngsters with displayed vehicles will be permitted onto the race track for a number of controlled laps.

All those who bring a kart or quarter midget for display will be given one free adult and one free kid passes for the night.

Coming up in two weeks on August 25, it will be Silgan Closures Night. All five regular track classes will be in action plus the Micro Stock Racing Series and a Late Model make-up feature.
General adult admission is $12. $2.00 off admission price for students, seniors 65+ and active military.
