It was recently announced that the INEX Legends will be part of King of the Mountain events at Mountain Speedway and with $500 going to the victor of the show on Saturday, October 6, it’s bound to be one of the most intense races of the day.
Due to a positive response from the Legends racers, the speedway has also decided to award the victor of the event on Sunday, 9/30 $500 as well and the second place driver will pocket $250.
The entry fee for both shows is $40. Pit admission for 9/30 is $35 and it’s $50 each day for King of the Mountain weekend. There is also a Friday evening practice session, which is slated for the Friday prior to King of the Mountain weekend and the pit admission for the session is $20.
The third and final INEX Legends event of the season will be in part with the NELMA Late Model Challenge on Saturday, October 20. The NELMA Legends Fall Classic (non Mountain Speedway points show) has always brought out some of the best cars from nearly all over the nation and this years event should not disappoint. Mountain Speedway is just minutes from Hazleton, Pa, located on St. John’s Road, between Routes 93 and 309. Grandstand admission for all regular events is just $12 for ages 11 and older. Children 10 years of age and younger are admitted for free.
