We need another tire. Tires wars get brought up every once in a while, and today it showed. Cars didn't get much better after the break. A couple years ago, when a car took on tires, it was a rocket. Now, it doesn't seem to matter.
The tire problems this year are confounding. Teams do all they can to get maximum performance and then tires are a complete gamble.
When cars take on tires, they often aren't getting much better. Usually, when a car takes on tires, especially when they only take on tires, they should get better, much better. This year, cars take on tires and often they could have been better off not taking on new tires, the new tires weren't any good, or better than what came off the car.
Hoosier needs some competition. These teams can not afford to have all their efforts rely on the luck of a tire draw.
