LOTS OF ACTIVITY BEOFRE AND AFTER; THREE QUARTER MIDGETS AND CHAMP KARTS TO RACE

Indoor Auto Racing returns to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. on New Years Eve, Monday, December 31.

The event, produced by Len Sammons Motorsports Productions, will bring
powerful Three Quarter Midget cars and nimble Champ Karts to the arena for the
second time in 2012.

Stewart Friesen of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada was the big
winner in the March, 2012 TQ races.

The New Years’ Eve event has been scheduled to coincide with downtown
Providence’s annual Bright Lights Festival, a day and night of fun- filled activities taking place in the city. The annual festival holds activities for family members of all ages.

The gates of the Dunkin’ Donuts Center will open at 5:00 p.m. with
racing to begin at 6:00 p.m. The target time for event completion is 9:00 p.m. which will allow for a maximum of post-race fun.

“The Providence Indoor Race has been well received in each of it’s
four previous showings,” said event organizer Len Sammons. “We
expect to expose this exciting sport to new fans on New Year’s eve
and to have a great party after the races with our drivers, owners and
racing friends.”

The entry field of TQ Midgets and Champ Karts will be reduced to
twenty-four starters for the twin feature races. Karts will run for
25-laps while the TQ Midget feature is scheduled for 40 circuits.

In addition to the generous prize money, the TQ Midget winner will
take possession of the coveted ‘Coffee Cup’, presented annually to
the winner of the feature race.

A special room rate package has been established at the Clarion
Providence-Seekonk Hotel, located in Seekonk, Mass., just six miles
from the entrance of the Dunkin’ Donuts center.

For just $235.00 per couple the package includes two nights of deluxe
lodging accommodations, a New Year’s eve party with a buffet with
carving stations, a beer and wine open bar from 11:00 to 12:00
midnight and a New Years Eve toast. Music for dancing will be provided
by a D.J. Rooms at the Clarion will be offered at $89.00 per night
for those not interested in the party.

Entries forms for both TQ Midget and Champ Kart will be available
soon.
