Nazareth Speedway

A proposal to write a book about Nazareth Speedway has been approved yesterday by Arcadia Publishing. Arcadia has over 8,000 titles and they currently has a licensing agreement with both NASCAR and ISC, so the finished book would be an officially licensed NASCAR product, bearing the logo.

I plan on having a chapter on just enduro racing- so I would like to have some drivers, fans, etc. tell me in their own words: What does enduro racing means to me?

What I need now are pictures/ stories for the book about Nazareth. I know there are a few NEETS "Oldtimers" who have raced there. I was going to announce this at the banquet but the book will be going to print before our first race starts.

If you have watched a race there, wrenched on a car or raced, and have pictures (or know of people who have pictures) send me an email/ PM or bring them to the banquet. I will then scan them and return them you when I am done. :)

Lastly, I also want to know how many are interested in buying the book (autographed by me of course) so I know how many to order ($21.99) and if there are any local businesses, tracks, or events that may be interested in selling the book or having a book signing event.

What a kick in the butt saying old timers. Thank God I was six when I raced enduroes there. Lol. I told you I have a lot of photos . You and Larry have to come down to my dad's house to get them. I forgot them the last race. I will call sometime this weekend . Ok see ya Ray 2ez

I will look thru my racing photos box and bring them to the banquet. I suppose any story could be emailed to you. Do you want any of the program books to get info from. I guess Steve Barrick printed/edited them. Put me down for 1 book.

The last race at the old speedway was a $10,000 to win enduro........that was one wild race....................:applause:

For us old timers i have pictures, program books, entry forms from Nazareth Speedway and i will bring them to the banquet...in one word i would have to descirbe racing at Nazareth as "EXCITING". Nazareth Speedway was the first time I ever raced with up to 150+ cars

If anyone wants to contribute with pictures, stories, etc., be sure to bring them to the banquet. Larry and I will be there (Richie too). I will scan them and send them back to you. I have also set up a page on Facebook "Images of Sports Nazareth Speedway" that you can "like" and see pictures as I get them in- Right now I have BDR and GV pictures up there...
