I've been road racing with the SCCA for a while and I noticed that they recently updated their track records list to include Thompson.

Is there a road course?

PS - What do you race? I just got something to tool around with to see how I like turning right...

I have been racing a BMW ITS car for about 10 years. Going to race an SK modified a few weekends next year and see what happens. If they offer road racing and circle track the same weekend I could try to do both in one location!

That's awesome - plus ITS has become a hot zone with lots of diversity. I always enjoy looking at the ITS grid. Good luck with the SK, and with the double if it can occur.

The closest I came a few years ago was autocrossing and running a dirt oval on the same day. We trailered the autox car out on Friday. Brought the dirt car on Saturday, autocrossed, then went to the track Sat night and brought the dirt car home. Then Sunday went back for day 2 of the autox and brought that car home. It was a LOT of work but made for a good experience and cool photo ops.
