I can't wait! Leaving for NJ in...4 hours or so.
Pitkat is supposedly running a SK.
Tim Arre and Matt Hirschman are running both SK and Tour mod.
Both Danny and Michael Bohn will be in tour mods.
Andy Jankowiak will be running in a car prepped by the Evans'.

There were 25 SK's that took time today. Top 5 were Jimmy Blewett, Eric Mauriello, Zane Zeiner, Steven Reed, Matt Hirschman. Softer compound than normal; I think SK time today would have taken Tour pole last year.
Here are the results from today:

I seem to remember 12-15 tour cars that took time today...from memory:
Woolley, Cole, Silk, Sammons, Arre, Blewett, Treat, Bohn x 2, Hirschman, Barrett, Zeiner
thanks. I was looking through the results and there is a racer in the factory stocks by the name of animal, finished 13th. Looks like good car counts in most divisions, that SK race should be good with some good racers towards the back. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this year, so if anyone wants to post results on the chrome horn I would appreciate it.

OUTSTANDING JOB TMAC !! Thank You so much
Soak the fingers in some Scotch. Works for all my pains.
thats caps a pretty darn good year for Matt Hirschman, if memory serves me correctly he won the Star open, Seekonk's open wheel Wednesday, the ROC, and now turkey derby. Great job.
Pretty good crowd . Sun was out earlier. 40,s and breezy .
Think 15 dirt mods. They get around this place pretty good. Haven't seen Stewart frieson .(I know not correct sleeping)
Vodka now. Getting the same results . Ha!
Thanks for reporting this race. Is anyone reporting the other races?

Zane Zeiner won SK race for a PA sweep. Jimmy Blewett had the field reasonably covered early until looked like engine went boom (telltale puff of smoke).
SK race also had the "big one" where Silk got forced into fence on frontstretch which caused him to spin and at least 6 cars piled in.

It was nice to see NASCAR's stupid restart rules weren't in effect for the TB, otherwise Matt would've been blackflagged!

While they might not have been there were plenty of shenanigans and called off restarts in the other races, namely the factory stocks. The leader had to fire first, in the box, and anything after that was fair game. I was honestly surprised some were not called back in the mod race.
Anywho, here is my fav part of Turkey Derby - the view from behind ModTourMan!

LOL! Glad I had the Hat Saturday...it got cold when the sun went behind the clouds. Great day at the races. It was my one and only visit to Wall this year and the Turkey Derby didn't disappoint. There was a good car count and some decent racing in the Touring Modified race. I bailed on the SK/Wall Mod race, however. I just couldn't stand how long the tack officials took to line up the cars during the cautions and it was getting late. It was great getting to see and chat with you on Saturday Mike. Congrats again on a great run with the TQ. You looked fast and smooth out there - especially dodging that mess in turn 1!
