NASCAR keeps the money rolling in.

Fox renews for 2.4 Billion for 8 years thru 2022.

300 Million per year up from 220 Million per year despite a drop in ratings. That's for 13 Cup races per season.

Still to be negotiated are the finale 23 cup races per season. Bidding will come from TNT, ABC-ESPN and NBC-NBCSports Network.

The Modifieds used to be shown on Versus until NBC bought Versus and Sh-tcanned the Modifieds despite great ratings. Versus is now the NBCSports network.

NASCAR sure knows how to sell boring Cup racing.

Now you know why the modifieds are but a blip in the offices of Nascar.
