After the fan fare of the CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler settles and the winners declared, weekly Friday night racing action at Stafford Motor Speedway will power into high gear. To open the 2013 weekly racing program, Stafford Motor Speedway is looking to reward its loyal fans by giving them an opportunity to bring a friend for free. Yes you heard it right; at the General Admission Entrance, one person will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
The opening Friday night of 2013, May 10th will be BFF night, Best Friend Friday, in combination with the Late Model Xtramart Xtra Distance event. May 10th will be a great opportunity for fans to bring a friend, a co-worker, a family member, a long lost race fan, or a first time guest to the races. It doesn't matter who, just bring a friend Friday, May 10th for a night of fun, NASCAR style.
"We know we have many loyal fans in our Stafford Speedway community that are passionate about weekly racing," said Vice President Lisa Arute. "We want to give back to our fans with an opportunity to bring a friend for free and share the power of the sport we all love."
May 10th will kick off another exciting ultra competitive season at Stafford Motor Speedway. Opening night will include the five NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions consisting of SK Modifieds® (40 laps), Xtramart Xtra D Late Models (35), SK Light Modifieds (20), Limited Late Models (20), and Dare Stocks (15). The first Friday night race of the year is important to drivers as they look to get into a rhythm that may propel them into a successful summer and fall race season.
Bring a friend for free night is a great opportunity to expose someone who has never witnessed the excitement and exhilaration that surrounds the NASCAR Whelen All American Series. We all know that it only takes one trip to a weekly local racetrack to experience the grassroots level and your hooked on racing for a lifetime.
