Elegant Builders Raceway Park (EBRP), formerly known as Lancaster Speedway, is pleased to announce the new Hoosier Modified Series that will feature three races for the iconic division at the 5/8th mile speedway.
The “Mighty Modifieds” will compete in a three race mini series with the opening race on Saturday, May 11th with the 100 lap “Mr. Modified” race. The series will continue on Saturday, August 3rd with the “Hoosier 100” and concludes on Saturday, August 17th with the speedway’s signature “Tommy Druar & Tony Jankowiak Memorial Modified 110”. At the conclusion of the series, the Modified series point’s leader will receive a $500 bonus and if any one driver wins each of the three races, they will receive an additional $500 bonus. The series will utilize the Race of Champions technical rules, with the exception of tires as the EBRP series will see the racers on Hoosier race tires. The purse for the EBRP events will also closely mirror that of the ROC Modified Tour purse and will feature a lap money program for the Druar & Jankowiak Memorial event.
The Modifieds are also slated for EBRP’s US Open which will feature the traditional appearance by the Race of Champions Modified Tour. The US Open is scheduled for the weekend of September 20th – 22nd.
