The popular open wheel Modified stock cars will return to action at Wall Stadium this Saturday night (May 4) headlining a six division stock car racing car also featuring Sportsman, Limited Late Model, Legend Cars, Factory Stock and Four Cylinder racers. Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying will start at 6:00 p.m.
Opening night Modified winner Steven Reed of Freehold will lead the field to action, but is expected to see stiff competition from Eric Mauriello of Howell, Chas Okerson of Freehold, Adam LaCicero of Lavallette and Brick’s Shawna Ingraham, just to name a few. The Modifieds will battle in a 40-lap main event.
Also on the card will be the Sportsman cars, Legend Cars, Limited Late Models, Factory Stocks and the Four Cylinder racers. The theme of the night will be “Giveaways Galore” as many fans will go home with prizes.
Pit gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday; with practice starting at 3:30 p.m. Grandstands will open at 5:00 p.m. and the first qualifying event takes the green flag at 6:00 p.m. Main events are scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Sunday will also be a big day at the speedway with “Crasho De Mayo” events planned. With pit area and grandstand gates opening at noon and action starting at 1:00 p.m., Enduro racing is on the agenda along with a thrilling Demolition Derby.
