With his third straight win in the first four Modified races so far this season at Mountain Speedway, Brian DeFebo of Berwick has a 0.750 batting average to start of what could possibly be another championship season. Also with three wins this season, Chip Wanamaker of Walnutport held off stout competition to take top honors in the Street Stock division and Scott Adams of Lake Ariel continued in his dominating ways and remains undefeated this season after notching his fourth straight Four Cylinder victory of the year. Brendon Bock of Long Island, NY took his third INEX Legends win of the season and Matt Odona went to victory lane in the INEX Bandolero feature. The 4C Super Modifieds hit the track for their first event of the season and Mike Renn held off Wes Gilbert for the victory.

Dave Brigati started from the pole position and led the first circuit of the 40-lap Modified main event over John Fortin Jr, John Fortin Sr, Brian DeFebo and Todd Baer. With four laps complete, J. Fortin, Sr. took the second spot.

J. Fortin, Sr. overtook Brigati for the lead on lap eight and by lap 10, DeFebo had climbed to the second spot with Brigati, J. Fortin, Jr. and Baer in tow.

DeFebo hounded the leader and with 12 laps complete, he grabbed the lead. With the event halfway in the books and with DeFebo still in command, Earl Paules spun in turns three and four and headed to pit pits.

DeFebo remained in control following the restart and with 24 laps complete J. Fortin, Sr. continued in second, followed by Brigati, Amber Fortin and Paules.

Paules quickly moved to fourth and then overtook Brigati for third on lap 26. He got under J. Fortin, Sr. two laps later and moved into second.

Although Paules tried to take DeFebo on the high and low sides over the remainder of the show, DeFebo had enough muscle to hold him off for his third straight victory of the season. Paules settled for second, followed by J. Fortin Sr, Brigati and A. Fortin.

Dave Brigati and Brian DeFebo were heat race winners.

Tony Hilliard started from the pole position and led the opening circuit of the 25-lap Street Stock feature over Brian Wozniak, Chip Wanamaker, Kevin Higgins and Rich Emel. With four laps complete, Wanamaker grabbed second from Wozniak.

Hilliard remained to set the pace until he was overtaken by Wanamaker on lap six. Wozniak tried to get by for second, but patiently tucked back into the third spot.

With 13 laps complete, Higgins grabbed third from Wozniak and took second from Hilliard on the next lap. Three laps later Chris Burge got by Hilliard and moved to fourth.

A pair of yellows slowed the pace on lap 21 and when green flag racing resumed, Higgins gave Wanamaker everything that he could to pull off the victory. The top four drivers battled in a tight pack over the closing laps and in a last ditch effort to steal the victory, Higgins gave Wanamaker a little tap.

Wanamaker held on to take his third win of the season, followed by Burge, who just edged Higgins to the line at the finish. Paul Morgan, Jr, who had quietly worked his way to the front finished in the fourth spot and Wozniak took fifth.

Heat race victories went to Rich Emel and Chris Burge.

Joe Russell started the 20-lap Four Cylinder feature from the pole position but quickly lost the spot to Tony Hilliard before a lap was scored. Hilliard led the first circuit over Russell, Scott Adams, Larry Spencer III and John Smith.

Adams wasted no time and grabbed second from Russell on lap two. With five laps complete, the yellow flag waved when Frank Hughes stopped with mechanical woes in turn three.

When green flag racing resumed, Adams jumped to the front and never looked back, taking his fourth win in the four events held this season. Hilliard finished as the runner up, followed by Spencer, Russell and Smith.

Tony Hilliard and Scott Adams were heat race winners.

Mitch Dowd started form the pole in the 20-lap INEX Legends feature and was overtaken by Brendon Bock for the lead. When the pair came around to complete the first lap, Mike Carroll, Jr. was scored in third, followed by Brandon DeBrakeleer and Cole Fratesi.

DeBrakeleer moved his way to third and then grabbed second from Carroll on lap three. Three laps later Brad Lowmaster joined the mix and got by Carroll for third.

Throughout the entire race, DeBrakeleer looked hi and low on Bock, but Bock remained smooth and held the spot. Despite having a yellow flag that slowed the field with three laps remaining, Bock held off DeBrakeleer to score his third feature win of the season. Robert Silver finished a season best third, followed by Carroll and Lowmaster.

Brendon Bock and Brandon DeBrakeleer were heat race winners.

Mike Renn took the lead from his son, Steve on the first circuit of the 20-lap 4C Modified feature and never looked back, as he took his first victory of the season over Wes Gilbert, Steve Renn and Bob Renn. M. Renn was also the heat race winner.
