Youngsters from area Little League baseball teams will be admitted to Wall Stadium Speedway’s stock car races free of charge this Saturday night (May 18) when wearing their team jersey when they arrive at the ticket booth. Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, with qualifying starting at 6:00 p.m. and main event racing starting at 7:00 p.m.
The 4 Cylinder division, led by defending champion and new father Brien Crosby of Wall, will be in the spotlight with twin main events. The Sportsman, Limited Late Model and Factory Stock racers will also see action. The Modified and Legend Cars will have the night off.
Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at noon with a paid test session set for 1:00 until 3:30 p.m. The regular afternoon practice session will then begin at 3:00 p.m. and run until 5:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m.
On track competition will then begin at 6:00 p.m. with qualifying events to be followed by feature race action for all divisions at 7:00 p.m.
Action will then continue on Sunday (May 19) as Wall Stadium kicks off the “Sunday Small-Car Series” starting at noon.
