Despite having the threat of rain Sunday at Mountain Speedway, the show went on as scheduled and the action was pretty intense. Travis Fisher of Fern Glen held off Dave Brigati and Jason Hearn to record his first career Sport Modified feature win and Brigati of Calverton, PA bested Mitch Hawk for his second Late Model victory of the season. Stephanie Moyer of Sheppton held off Matt Mattern, Jr. to notch her first career Factory Stock victory and Brendon Bock of Franklin Square, NY claimed his fourth INEX Legends victory of the season. Nick Harnage of Calverton, NY picked up the INEX Bandolero victory.

Cam Ayers started from the pole position and was overtaken by Travis Fisher on the first circuit of the 40-lap Sport Modified feature event. Paul Frantz ran third with Tommy Wanick III and Dave Brigati in tow.

With two laps complete, Frantz got by Ayers for the second spot and Brigati followed through to take third a lap later. Two more laps later, Brigati moved by Frantz and set sail for Fisher.

Jason Hearne cracked the top five and with six laps complete, he got by Frantz for third.

With Fisher still setting the pace on lap 15, a quick yellow waved when Ayers spun on the backstretch. Green flag racing resumed and Fisher continued to lead over Brigati, Hearne and Frantz.

Hearne got by Brigati for second on lap 31 and then Brigati retook the position four laps later. With the top three cars all in contention for the victory in the closing laps, Fisher held off his competition to take his first Sport Modified victory over Brigati, Hearne, Frantz and Wanick.

Tommy Wanick III and Travis Fisher were heat race winners.

Mitch Hawk started from the pole position and led the opening circuit of the 30-lap Late Model feature over Dave Brigati, Mark Tyson, Rick Smith and Riley Moczulski.

Smith climbed to third and then battled hard with the top two until spinning and bringing out a lap 10 yellow. Hawk remained the leader following the restart Smith began to advance one again.

While following Tyson, who was fighting a loose condition, Smith committed to making a pass on the bottom in turns one and two. Tyson got out of shape and tried to correct his car, but the pair tangled and piled into the backstretch wall. Luckily, no one appeared to be hurt in the lap 13 red flag incident.

With the green flag back out, Hawk remained the leader until lap 18, when Brigati overtook him. Brigati drove off to his second victory of the season over Hawk. Moczulski finished a career-best third.

Mitch Hawk was the heat race winner.

With Cargill of Hazleton on board as her new sponsor this season, Stephanie Moyer won her first career heat race and then started on the pole for the 20-lap Factory Stock feature. She led the opening circuit over Matt Mattern, Jr, Kendall Foulk, Paul Morgan, Jr. and Frank Katona.

As the race unfolded Moyer’s car began to fade, but she remained in control and continued to hold off Mattern.

Despite several attempts from her closest competition, Moyer held on to claim her first feature victory in the division over Mattern, Morgan, Foulk and Katona. Along with all of her sponsors and supporters, Moyer thanked her brother Mike Jr, who passed away two years earlier, for being such an inspiration to her.

Brad Lowmaster started from the pole and led the opening circuit of the 20-lap INEX Legends feature over Raven Schrantz, Mike Carroll, Jr, Brendon Bock and Cole Fratesi.

With two laps complete and with Lowmaster still in command, Carroll got by Schrantz for second and Bock followed through for third. Two laps after that, Bock moved by Carroll and into the runner-up spot and Schrantz came along for third.

Bock overtook Lowmaster for the lead on lap 10 and never looked back, winning his fourth feature of the season over Lowmaster, Schrantz, Carroll and C. Fratesi.

Brendon Bock and Brad Lowmaster were heat race winners.
